Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel is working closely with a warm and welcoming Primary school in Axminster seeking a Level 3 qualified Early Years, Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team after half term.

The Role:

As an Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support children aged 3–5 in a vibrant nursery and reception setting
• Assist the class teacher in delivering the EYFS curriculum
• Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where every child thrives
• Work closely with staff, parents, and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for pupils

The Ideal Candidate:

• Holds a Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education/Childcare
• Has experience working in an Early Years setting
• Understands the EYFS framework and how to support learning through play
• Is reliable, proactive, and committed to supporting children’s development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
