Nursery Nurse, – Unqualified, Level 2 or Level 3

Location: Gloucester (GL1/GL2)
Hours: Full-Time

Teaching Personnel is looking for enthusiastic Early Years Practitioners to join a friendly, welcoming nursery in Gloucester. Whether you’re qualified, working towards a qualification, or experienced but unqualified, we would love to hear from you.

Important:
Unqualified does NOT mean inexperienced.
If you have hands-on experience with children in nurseries, as a nanny/Au Pair, in youth settings, or through other similar environments you are encouraged to apply.


What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Leading and supporting fun, engaging activities for ages 0–5
  • Encouraging children’s learning, play, and emotional development
  • Supporting feeding, routines, and personal care
  • Helping create a warm, safe and nurturing environment
  • Building positive relationships with children, colleagues and families
  • Assisting with observations, notes and planning (L2/3 roles)

The Kind of Person We’re Looking For:

  • Someone positive, patient and genuinely passionate about Early Years
  • Experience with children in formal or informal settings
  • Level 2 or Level 3 childcare qualification is welcomed but not essential
  • A reliable team player with good communication skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
