NURSERY MANAGER Opportunity
Location: Lambeth, London
Salary: Up to £50,000 (Flexible for the right candidate)
Full-Time | Permanent
Monday to Friday | 40 Hours a Week
Are you an experienced Nursery Manager looking for the opportunity to lead and shape a growing nursery with real autonomy and long-term career progression?
Our client, a well-established private English/French nursery in Vauxhall, is seeking an ambitious and passionate Nursery Manager to take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the setting.
This is a unique opportunity to join a supportive ownership team that is committed to investing in the nursery's future.
The successful candidate will have the freedom to make a genuine impact while building a thriving environment for children, families, and staff.
Please note: There is no requirement to speak French for this position.

Key Responsibilities
Oversee the day-to-day management of the nursery
Lead, motivate, and develop the nursery team
Maintain exceptional standards of care, learning, and safeguarding
Ensure compliance with EYFS and Ofsted requirements
Build strong relationships with parents and carers
Manage occupancy and support the continued growth of the nursery
Create a positive, engaging, and nurturing environment for both children and staff
About You
Previous experience as a Nursery Manager or Deputy Nursery Manager ready to step up
Strong leadership and people management skills
Excellent understanding of EYFS, safeguarding, and nursery compliance
Commercial awareness and a passion for delivering outstanding childcare
Dedicated, proactive, and committed to creating an exceptional nursery environment
Able to commit to a full-time schedule of Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 6:00pm

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
