Teaching Personnel is seeking a passionate and creative Music Teacher to join one of our vibrant partner secondary schools in S12 in Sheffield. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to inspire students, develop musical talent, and contribute to a thriving Performing Arts department.

About the Role

As a Music Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and practical music lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 experience desirable).
  • Teach a varied curriculum including performance, composition, music theory, and use of music technology.
  • Encourage creativity and confidence through singing, instrumental work, and ensemble activities.
  • Use assessment to monitor progress and plan effective interventions.
  • Support extracurricular music opportunities such as choirs, bands, concerts, and school productions.
  • Maintain high expectations for behaviour, engagement, and achievement.

About You

We are looking for a teacher who:

  • Holds QTS or QTLS (ECTs and experienced teachers welcome).
  • Has strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for Music education.
  • Can inspire students of all abilities through dynamic, practical teaching.
  • Brings excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • Is confident using instruments, music software, and digital tools.
  • Is committed to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
