- Ambition for every learner: High expectations are embedded throughout the school. You’ll have the freedom to bring fresh ideas, stretch students’ potential, and deliver engaging learning experiences regardless of starting point.
- Students who have a voice: Learners are encouraged to shape aspects of school life, bringing energy, creativity, and ownership to the classroom and wider musical opportunities.
- A purposeful environment: Music is valued as a subject that strengthens confidence, expression, and connection—far more than just a timetable requirement.
The Role
Starting in April 2026, you’ll teach Music across Key Stages 3–4, with the possibility of Key Stage 5 depending on your experience. You’ll also contribute to a lively extracurricular programme—whether that’s leading a choir, running instrumental groups, or coordinating performances that bring the whole community together.

- A teacher who believes wholeheartedly in inclusivity and the potential of every student.
- Someone who builds strong, supportive, and respectful relationships.
- A creative practitioner who strives for high standards and isn’t afraid to bring new ideas.
