Music Teacher – Derbyshire

Daily Rate: £162 – £251
Start Date: September 2025


We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative Music Teacher to join one of our partner secondary schools in Derbyshire from September. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire students’ passion for music while delivering engaging lessons across a range of year groups.

  • Teach Music across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 opportunities may be available)

  • Weekly pay between £162 – £251, depending on experience

Who We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS)

  • Experience teaching Music in UK secondary schools

  • Strong subject knowledge and ability to deliver practical and theory lessons

  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills

  • A creative, engaging teaching style to inspire students

  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
