Music Teacher – Milton Keynes | £170–£260 per day 

Are you a passionate and dedicated Music Teacher looking for your next opportunity? We are seeking an inspiring educator to join a thriving secondary school in Milton Keynes, where you can make a real impact on students’ creativity and musical development.

Your New Role

You will plan and deliver engaging, high-quality Music lessons across KS3 and KS4, covering a broad range of musical skills and concepts. You’ll play a key role in fostering students’ confidence and creativity, while ensuring strong academic progress.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering dynamic and inclusive Music lessons
  • Teaching all aspects of the Music curriculum
  • Monitoring and assessing student progress effectively
  • Creating a positive and well-managed classroom environment
  • Supporting pupils in developing both practical and theoretical skills

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds a UK-recognised teaching qualification (QTS/QLTS) with Music specialism
  • Has strong subject knowledge and experience teaching KS3 and KS4 in UK schools
  • Can plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons
  • Effectively monitors and assesses pupil progress
  • Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Has strong classroom and behaviour management abilities
  • Holds an enhanced DBS on the update service (or is willing to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
