Location: Liverpool
Position: Music Teacher (Secondary)
Employment Type: Full-time / Long-term


About the Role:
We are looking for a passionate and skilled Music Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Liverpool. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students who have Special Educational Needs (SEN) and be able to deliver adaptable, personalised lessons that meet individual learning requirements.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach the full Music curriculum to secondary students.
  • Provide 1:1 support and small group interventions for students with SEN.
  • Adapt lesson plans to ensure inclusivity and accessibility for all learners.
  • Foster creativity and confidence in students through engaging and personalised teaching strategies.
  • Collaborate with SEN support staff and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Music.
  • Experience teaching in a secondary school environment.
  • Proven ability to work with students with SEN and adapt lessons accordingly.
  • Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
