Teaching Personnel are seeking passionate and enthusiastic Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teachers to work across secondary schools throughout South Yorkshire. We have a variety of opportunities available, making this an excellent option for experienced teachers, ECTs and those looking for flexible or longer-term work.

The Role

As an MFL Teacher, you will inspire students and help them develop their confidence and ability in languages. You may be teaching French, Spanish, German or other MFL subjects, depending on your experience and the requirements of our partner schools.

Responsibilities may include:

• Planning and delivering engaging MFL lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Preparing students for GCSE examinations where required.
• Differentiating lessons to meet a range of abilities and learning needs.
• Managing classroom behaviour effectively and maintaining high expectations.
• Assessing and monitoring student progress.
• Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Working collaboratively with departments and wider school staff.
• Supporting students to develop their speaking, listening, reading and writing skills.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for MFL Teachers who:

• Hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualifications.
• Have experience teaching MFL within a secondary school setting.
• Have strong subject knowledge in French, Spanish, German or another modern language.
• Can confidently teach across KS3 and/or KS4.
• Have excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Are passionate about languages and committed to student progress.
• Can adapt quickly to different school environments.
• Are reliable, enthusiastic and professional.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
