Are you a passionate Modern Foreign Languages Teacher who can inspire pupils to develop confidence and enthusiasm for languages?

We are recruiting for an MFL Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in Preston (PR2) from November 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher who is confident delivering both French and Spanish across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

The Role

As the successful MFL Teacher, you will be responsible for:

  • Teaching French and Spanish across KS3 & KS4
  • Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons
  • Preparing pupils for assessments and GCSE examinations
  • Monitoring progress and providing constructive feedback
  • Creating an inclusive and positive classroom environment
  • Managing classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
  • Working collaboratively with the wider MFL department

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
  • Have experience teaching French and Spanish at KS3 & KS4
  • Have a strong understanding of the secondary MFL curriculum
  • Demonstrate effective classroom and behaviour management
  • Be enthusiastic, organised and committed to raising pupil attainment
  • Be available to start from November 2026
