Are you a Maths Specialist looking for an exciting new challenge? 


Teaching Personnel are seeking full and part time Maths Tutors on behalf of schools in Wakefield, to start tuition in September 2023.

As a Maths Tutor, you will be working closely with students either on a 1:1 basis or in small groups. You will be delivering sessions to students across Year 7 to Year 11, who are currently working below expectations.

The working hours will be part-time or full -time, Monday to Friday. As a tutor you would be delivering sessions in line with the schools Maths Curriculum, so strong knowledge of the curriculum is essential. Tutors will additionally be responsible for completing sessional feedback forms for their students on a weekly basis.

Rate of pay is competitive and would vary between £25 to £35 per hour (depending upon group size and experience). Roles will be starting in September 2023.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
