Job Title: Maths Tutor - KS3 and KS4
Location: Consett, County Durham
Pay: Up to £35 per hour (varies based on group size and school needs)
Are you passionate about Maths and want to help students excel in their studies? We're looking for dedicated Maths Tutors to work with KS3 and KS4 pupils in schools around North Shields and nearby areas.
Key Duties:
- Tutor Maths to KS3 and KS4 students individually or in small groups
- Create customised lessons to meet students' needs and school requirements
- Keep track of student progress and offer regular feedback to students and schools, using our LEAP platform
- Foster a positive and engaging learning environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm
Requirements:
- A Maths degree plus UK recognised QTS is crucial
- Strong knowledge of GCSE exam expectations and teaching up to GCSE level is essential
- Good communication and people skills
- A strong passion for education and helping students reach their full potential
- Reliable and punctual
- Child Workforce only DBS on the update service is desirable

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
