Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a large Roman Catholic Secondary school in the Moston region of North Manchester. The school have an open vacancy within their Mathematics department for a teacher of Maths to join their team at the earliest convenience.
This full time position will initially be offered on a temporary basis until the end of the academic year, with a permanent position from September 2018 for the successful Maths teacher.
"We are seeking to appoint a Mathematics teacher to join our school with immediate effect (if possible). Due to a restructure in positions within the Maths department, a gap has emerged for a full time teacher to work with classes across Key Stage Three and Key Stage Four. The successful Maths teacher will be expected to demonstrate examples of outstanding practice and have experience with behaviour management and engagement strategies." Head Teacher

- Pay in line with teaching scale point (£22,917 - £38,633 per annum)

Our client Secondary school is located in the Moston region of North Manchester, with public transportation links leading from Oldham, Rochdale and Manchester City Centre. For drivers, the M60 Motorway provides a direct route to the school from Greater Manchester areas.
The school falls under the Salford Diocese and has roughly 1200 children pupils on roll, a higher than average percentage of pupils are eligible for pupil premium funding and the majority of pupils are of white british heritage. The incoming Maths teacher will be expected to implement the ethos and values of the school within lessons and create a diverse and engaging environment to facilitate learning.
