Job description

Join an Ofsted graded ‘Good’ secondary school in Salford, supporting pupils aged 11-16 within the Maths department.

Due to the recent closure of schools in the UK, we are working alongside our client schools to ensure all pupils are supported in the new academic year.

  • Full-time Maths teacher.
  • Required from September 2020 or earlier.
  • Secondary school in Salford.
  • Paid to teaching scale (GBP24,373 - GBP40,490)

Our client school has been recently refurbished with modern facilities and equipment. The school is known for using open learning spaces and strong behaviour policies.

The incoming Maths teacher will be expected to teach a full timetable across Key Stage 3 and GCSE alongside taking on full planning and marking responsibilities. The successful teacher will need to deliver differentiated Maths lessons to pupils of varying levels of learning ability and identify any pupils in need of additional guidance.

The school is located close by to Eccles and can be accessed via the M62 and A580 from surrounding areas such as Bolton, Worsley and Salford. For candidates without their own transport, the school can also be accessed via public transport from neighbouring areas of Salford.

To be considered for this position, the incoming teacher must have QTS and a subject specialism within Maths. Both newly qualified and experienced teachers will be considered.
