Maths Teacher – Secondary School (Yeovil)

Location: Yeovil, Somerset
Contract Type: Full-time (Part-time considered)
Start Date: September
Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)

Are you a passionate and dedicated Maths teacher looking to inspire the next generation? We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Maths Teacher to join our thriving secondary school in Yeovil.

About the Role:

  • Teach Mathematics across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 opportunities may be available)
  • Plan and deliver engaging, challenging lessons that cater to a range of abilities
  • Monitor and support student progress to ensure strong academic achievement
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school, including enrichment and extracurricular activities

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Have a strong subject knowledge and a passion for Mathematics
  • Be an effective classroom practitioner with excellent behaviour management skills
  • Be committed to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Have high expectations of student achievement and behaviour

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
