Teacher of Maths - Wigan & Warrington
Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated Teacher of Maths for secondary schools across Wigan and Warrington, with opportunities available from September. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Maths teacher to inspire and support students' progress and achievement in mathematics.
Role Overview:
- Teach Maths across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 to students of varying abilities.
- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging and effective lessons that cater to diverse learning needs.
- Collaborate with the Maths department to maintain high standards of achievement and foster a positive learning environment.
- Monitor student progress and provide targeted support to help learners reach their full potential.
- Contribute to the wider school community through departmental activities and school events.
Candidate Requirements:
- Applications are encouraged from ECTs qualifying this year as well as unqualified teachers with a strong Maths background and relevant classroom experience.
- A passion for Mathematics and a commitment to supporting student success.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to motivate and engage students.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
