Salary: M1 – UPS1 (in line with the teaching scale)
Contract: Full-time, long-term
Age Range: 11–16 (Key Stage 3 & GCSE)

We are working with a large, well-regarded secondary school in Warrington seeking a committed Maths Teacher to join their department from September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for both newly qualified and experienced teachers to join a supportive team dedicated to raising attainment and driving pupil progress.

The Role

The successful candidate will:

Teach Maths across Key Stage 3 and GCSE
Deliver a full teaching timetable, including planning, marking, and assessment
Differentiate learning to meet pupils of varying abilities
Monitor and report on student progress, working collaboratively within the Maths department
Contribute to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning across the school

Easily accessible via the M62, M6, and M56, ideal for commuters from Manchester, Liverpool, and Cheshire
Well connected through public transport from surrounding areas including Widnes, Runcorn, and St Helens

Requirements

Applicants must have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching Maths up to GCSE level
A strong commitment to high-quality teaching and learning
