Maths Teacher – Full-Time | Warrington | September 2026 Start
Salary: M1 – UPS1 (in line with the teaching scale)
Contract: Full-time, long-term
Age Range: 11–16 (Key Stage 3 & GCSE)
We are working with a large, well-regarded secondary school in Warrington seeking a committed Maths Teacher to join their department from September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for both newly qualified and experienced teachers to join a supportive team dedicated to raising attainment and driving pupil progress.
The Role
The successful candidate will:
- Teach Maths across Key Stage 3 and GCSE
- Deliver a full teaching timetable, including planning, marking, and assessment
- Differentiate learning to meet pupils of varying abilities
- Monitor and report on student progress, working collaboratively within the Maths department
- Contribute to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning across the school

- Easily accessible via the M62, M6, and M56, ideal for commuters from Manchester, Liverpool, and Cheshire
- Well connected through public transport from surrounding areas including Widnes, Runcorn, and St Helens
Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching Maths up to GCSE level
- A strong commitment to high-quality teaching and learning
