Teaching Personnel
Teaching Personnel is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Sheffield. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to develop their careers within a supportive and forward-thinking school environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality Mathematics lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, inspiring students to develop confidence and achieve their full academic potential.
The Role
- Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning.
- Support pupils of varying abilities to achieve their academic goals.
- Contribute to the wider school community and departmental activities.
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour, attendance, and achievement.
The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Specialism in Mathematics.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to motivate and engage learners of all abilities.
- ECTs are encouraged to apply and will be fully supported.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
