Maths Teacher – Mainstream Secondary School, Salisbury
Start Date: April 2026
A welcoming and forward-thinking mainstream secondary school in Salisbury is seeking a passionate Maths Teacher to join their department from April 2026.
The successful candidate will:

Deliver engaging Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 available for the right candidate)
-
Plan and adapt lessons to meet the needs of mixed-ability learners
-
Use assessment effectively to track progress and inform teaching
-
Contribute to curriculum development within a collaborative Maths department
-
Maintain high expectations for behaviour, progress and attainment
The school is looking for someone who:
-
Holds QTS (or is an ECT with strong placement experience)
-
Has strong subject knowledge and a passion for Maths education
-
Is confident teaching GCSE Mathematics
-
Works well as part of a team and contributes to wider school life

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
