Maths Teacher – Mainstream Secondary School, Salisbury

Start Date: April 2026

A welcoming and forward-thinking mainstream secondary school in Salisbury is seeking a passionate Maths Teacher to join their department from April 2026.

The successful candidate will:

• Deliver engaging Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 available for the right candidate)

• Plan and adapt lessons to meet the needs of mixed-ability learners

• Use assessment effectively to track progress and inform teaching

• Contribute to curriculum development within a collaborative Maths department

• Maintain high expectations for behaviour, progress and attainment

The school is looking for someone who:

• Holds QTS (or is an ECT with strong placement experience)

• Has strong subject knowledge and a passion for Maths education

• Is confident teaching GCSE Mathematics

• Works well as part of a team and contributes to wider school life
