This is your chance to join a brand-new specialist SEN school in Salisbury on a temporary basis from January to April 2026. If you’re passionate about helping KS3 learners thrive and want to develop your expertise in SEN education, this role is for you!


About the Role

As a KS3 SEN Maths Teacher, you’ll plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons for pupils in Years 7–9 with diverse needs, including Autism (ASC), Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges, and other behavioural difficulties.

You’ll work closely with experienced teaching assistants and senior leaders, creating a safe, nurturing, and positive learning environment. This school offers modern facilities and a strong commitment to professional development that gives you the chance to enhance your SEN teaching skills while making a genuine difference!


What We’re Looking For

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) / PGCE
✔ Strong Maths subject knowledge and ability to deliver KS3 curriculum
✔ Experience or interest in SEN teaching
✔ Resilient, patient, and innovative approach
✔ Excellent communication and collaboration skills
✔ Ability to manage behaviour positively and calmly

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
