Secondary School Mathematics Teacher
Start Date: September 2026
Location: Reading
Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join our thriving secondary school from September. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire students and contribute to a supportive and high-achieving department.

About the Role:

You will deliver engaging and challenging mathematics lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with the opportunity to teach Key Stage 5 for a suitable candidate). You will be committed to raising attainment, fostering a love of learning, and supporting students of all abilities to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that meet the needs of all learners
Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
Contribute to curriculum development within the Mathematics department
Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Participate in extracurricular activities and wider school life
Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
A strong subject knowledge in Mathematics
Experience teaching in a secondary school setting (including ECTs welcome to apply)
A commitment to high standards of teaching and learning
Excellent communication and organisational skills
A passion for education and student success

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
