Job description

Are you a passionate Maths Teacher looking for your next opportunity in Oldham? Whether you are an experienced teacher seeking a fresh challenge or an ECT ready to begin your teaching career, we are working with a number of welcoming and well-resourced secondary schools across Oldham that are looking to appoint dedicated Maths Teachers on both a full-time and part-time basis.

We are seeking enthusiastic professionals who can inspire students to develop confidence in mathematics and achieve their full academic potential. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and challenging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach Key Stage 5 in some schools. You will be joining supportive departments that value collaboration, high standards and a commitment to excellent teaching and learning.

These opportunities are available on a temporary, long-term and permanent basis, offering flexibility to suit your career goals and lifestyle. Schools are looking for teachers who can create a positive classroom environment, effectively manage behaviour and deliver lessons that encourage curiosity, critical thinking and a genuine enjoyment of maths.

To be considered, you should hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification. We welcome applications from experienced Maths Teachers, Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and overseas-trained teachers with relevant UK classroom experience. A strong subject knowledge, excellent communication skills and a passion for helping young people succeed are essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
