Teaching Personnel is seeking an exceptional Maths Teacher to join a thriving secondary school on a full-time basis. The Role

As a full-time Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for:

• Teaching Mathematics across KS3, KS4 and KS5, including GCSE and A-Level
• Delivering engaging, well-structured lessons that inspire and challenge students
• Planning, preparing and assessing work in line with curriculum requirements
• Supporting students of varying abilities to achieve their full potential
• Using data effectively to monitor progress and raise attainment
• Maintaining high expectations for behaviour, effort and achievement
• Contributing to departmental development and whole-school initiatives
• Building positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues

Candidate Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must:

Essential Criteria

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
• Have proven experience teaching within a secondary school environment
• Be confident delivering both GCSE and A-Level Mathematics
• Demonstrate excellent classroom management and behaviour management skills
• Have a strong understanding of the current secondary Maths curriculum
• Be committed to achieving outstanding student outcomes
• Hold a valid Enhanced DBS Certificate registered on the Update Service, or be willing to obtain one through Teaching Personnel
• Have the right to work in the UK

Desirable Skills

• Experience teaching high-attaining and intervention groups
• A proven track record of improving student progress and attainment
• The ability to contribute to extracurricular Maths activities and revision programmes
• Strong communication and organisational skills
