About the Role
We are recruiting on behalf of a secondary school seeking a passionate and skilled Maths Teacher to join their team from September 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated practitioner to deliver high‑quality Mathematics teaching across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. The Role
As a Maths Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging lessons, support pupil progress, and contribute to a strong Maths provision.
You will work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community, helping to create an environment where all students are supported and challenged to succeed.
What You Will Do
- Deliver high‑quality Maths teaching across KS3, KS4, and KS5
- Plan engaging and effective lessons for a range of abilities
- Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress, adapting teaching accordingly
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Use a variety of teaching strategies to support learning
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to curriculum development
- Promote high standards of behaviour, achievement, and engagement
- Support safeguarding, attendance, and student wellbeing
- Engage in CPD, appraisal, and wider school activities
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT)
- Degree in Mathematics or a related subject
- Strong knowledge of the Maths curriculum (KS3–KS5)
- Ability to deliver engaging and inclusive lessons
- Good understanding of safeguarding requirements
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
- Commitment to continuous professional development
- Awareness of current educational developments and best practice

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
