Maths Teacher (QTS Required)
Full-Time | November 2026 - July 2027 Darwen, Lancashire Mainstream Secondary School
Are you a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher looking for a rewarding opportunity in a supportive secondary school?
We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Mathematics Teacher to join a welcoming and well-established mainstream secondary school in Darwen, Lancashire, on a full-time basis from November 2026 until July 2027.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified teacher to inspire and engage students across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping them develop confidence and achievement in Mathematics.
The Role
- Deliver high-quality Maths lessons to students across KS3 and KS4.
- Plan, prepare and assess engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Monitor student progress and provide effective feedback to support achievement.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Contribute to the wider school community and departmental activities.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Experience teaching Mathematics within a secondary school setting.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire students of varying abilities.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
