Maths Teacher – Darlington Secondary School

Teaching Personnel is recruiting a Maths Teacher for a Darlington secondary school starting September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for passionate Maths teachers to join a supportive department and inspire the next generation of mathematicians.
The school offers strong leadership, excellent resources, and a commitment to staff development. You'll teach Maths across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging lessons to students of varying abilities in a well structured environment with clear behaviour systems.
What you'll be doing:
- Teaching Maths across KS3 and KS4
- Planning and delivering high quality, engaging lessons
- Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback
- Managing classroom behaviour effectively
- Contributing to the wider school community
You need:
- QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
- Degree in Mathematics or related subject
- Experience teaching Maths at secondary level (ECTs welcome)
- Strong subject knowledge and passion for Mathematics
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Commitment to raising attainment and supporting student progress

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
