Maths Teacher- Full Time- September 2026 Start- Coventry- CV2
A secondary school based in Coventry is seeking to appoint a qualified and passionate teacher of maths on a full time basis from September 2026.
The ideal applicant will have a QTS in maths and be confident teaching up to KS5 mathematics.

Details:
Location- Coventry, CV2
Rate of Pay- To Scale (£173-250 per day, dependent upon teacher scale)
- Start date- September 2026
- Hours- Full Time, Term time only (Mon-Fri)
Ideal Applicant:
- Hold a UK QTS for mathematics
- Be confident planning and delivering engaging lessons up to and including KS5
- Have a strong classroom presence and confident managing challenging behaviour
- Happy for full planning and marking responsibility
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all can thrive
- Strong understanding of the national curriculum for maths
The Role:
- Plan and deliver maths lessons that engage learners of all ages and abilities
- Regularly assess pupils' work and monitor their progress
- Provide insightful feedback to the students to support their progression
- Collaborate with teachers within the maths department well to ensure positive outcomes across the subject
- Communicate well with parents and carers on a regular basis
- Contribute towards curriculum development and wider school activities where possible

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
