Teacher of Mathematics (Full-Time, potential for temp-perm)
Blackburn, Lancashire (BB2)
Start Date: September 2026
We are seeking an enthusiastic, committed, and inspirational Teacher of Mathematics to join a successful and supportive secondary school from September 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious practitioner to become part of a forward-thinking department dedicated to delivering high-quality teaching and learning.
The Role
- Deliver engaging and challenging mathematics lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 experience desirable but not essential)
- Inspire students to develop confidence, resilience, and a genuine appreciation for mathematics
- Contribute to curriculum development and departmental improvement strategies
- Monitor and support student progress, ensuring all learners achieve their full potential
- Participate fully in the wider life of the school, including pastoral responsibilities
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
- A strong subject knowledge in mathematics
- A commitment to high standards of teaching, learning, and behaviour
- The ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
