Mathematics Teacher (Maternity Cover)

Potential Permanent Opportunity for the Right Candidate
September Start | Full Time | Monday–Friday

We are seeking an enthusiastic and fully qualified Mathematics Teacher to join a forward‑thinking and supportive secondary school from September on a maternity cover basis, with a strong possibility of a permanent role for the right candidate.

This is an excellent opportunity to teach Maths in a well‑established department within a school that values high standards, professional development, and staff wellbeing.

 

The Role

  • Deliver engaging and effective Mathematics lessons across the relevant key stages
  • Plan, assess, and adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners
  • Work collaboratively within a supportive and experienced Maths department
  • Contribute positively to the wider life of the school

 

What We’re Looking For

  • A fully qualified Mathematics Teacher (QTS)
  • Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are warmly encouraged to apply
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching Maths
  • A positive, proactive approach and commitment to student progress

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
