Teaching Personnel are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Maths Teacher to join a welcoming middle school in the Dorchester area. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about mathematics and committed to helping pupils develop their confidence, knowledge and problem-solving skills.
The Role
As a Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons across Years 5–8, supporting pupils of a range of abilities and helping them make strong progress in mathematics.
You will be expected to:
- Plan and deliver high-quality Maths lessons across Years 5–8
- Create an engaging and supportive learning environment
- Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of individual pupils
- Monitor and assess pupil progress
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the wider school community
- Promote positive attitudes towards Maths and encourage pupils to reach their potential
About You
The successful candidate will:
- Have experience teaching Maths within a school setting
- Be confident teaching pupils across Year 5 to Year 8
- Have strong classroom management skills
- Be enthusiastic, reliable and committed to pupil development
- Be able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Hold relevant teaching qualifications or have suitable teaching experience

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
