Maths Graduate wanted in NN6! Full time role.
Are you ready to start your teaching career? Do you have a degree in Maths and want to teach this to others?
We are working with Secondary schools in Guilsborough, Northamptonshire Areas. Our partnering Secondary schools are seeking candidates to work as a Maths Teacher successful candidates will have the opportunity to work on daily supply or in longer fixed term supply contracts.
As a Cover Supervisor for Maths you will be responsible for leading lessons of approximately 30 pupils in the absence of the class teacher. You will cover classes across the department of Maths. The lesson will always be planned, and this will be provided in advance. It is your role as the Cover Supervisor to facilitate the classes learning, manage classroom behaviour, record accurate registers, and provide a handover to the absent teacher. Successful Cover Supervisors are adaptable, flexible, motivated, confident and organised, they have a passion for education and supporting young people.
The opportunity:
- Maths Graduate Unqualified Teacher
- Hold / predicted a maths degree (or related) with a 2:2 or above
- Secondary School in Daventry, Northamptonshire
- Rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted
- Full-time role, Monday - Friday
- £550 -£600 per week pro rata - term time only
- February 2024 start
- Chance to gain invaluable classroom experience before teacher training

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
