Job Title: Maths and English Tutor/Teacher

Location: East Midlands, Leicestershire, Leicester

Salary: £25.00 - £30.00 Per hour

Job Duties:

• Plan and deliver engaging Maths and English lessons to students
• Assess and evaluate students' progress and provide constructive feedback
• Create tailored learning materials and resources to support students' learning
• Develop individualised learning plans based on students' strengths and weaknesses
• Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and other stakeholders regarding students' progress
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and achievements

Required Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
• Degree in Maths, English, Education, or related field

Education, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:

• Demonstrated experience in teaching Maths and English to students of varying abilities
• Strong knowledge of the UK national curriculum for Maths and English
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their academic potential
• Organisational skills and ability to manage a diverse classroom environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Postgraduate qualification in Education or relevant field
• Experience in tutoring or providing one-to-one support to students
• Additional subject specialisms in Maths or English

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
