Job Title: Maths and English Tutor - Qualified

Location:

Leicestershire, Leicester

Salary:

£25.00 - £30.00 Per hour

Job Duties:

• Provide individual and group tutoring sessions in Maths and English
• Create tailored lesson plans based on students' needs
• Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
• Support students in developing their numeracy and literacy skills
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance

Required Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Degree in Education or related field
• Specialisation in Maths and English

Education:

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

• Proven experience in teaching Maths and English to students of varying abilities
• Experience in creating and implementing effective lesson plans
• Ability to assess and track student progress

Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong understanding of the UK national curriculum for Maths and English
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to motivate and engage students in learning
• Organisational skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

• Postgraduate qualification in Education
• Experience working with students with special educational needsN

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
