Job description

Maths and English Tutor – Stockport (SK6)

Support students to succeed with personalised learning through TP Tutors.

TP Tutors is looking for passionate and dedicated Maths and English Tutors to support pupils across Stockport (SK6). This rewarding role involves delivering tailored 1:1 tuition sessions that help students improve confidence, close learning gaps, and reach their academic potential.

The Role

  • Deliver engaging 1:1 Maths and English tuition sessions
  • Support students across a range of ages and abilities
  • Adapt lessons to suit individual learning styles and educational needs
  • Help pupils build confidence and improve attainment
  • Monitor progress and provide regular feedback following sessions

We’re Looking For

  • Strong knowledge of Maths and English curriculum content
  • Experience working with children or young people
  • Patient, supportive and adaptable approach to learning
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Previous tutoring or teaching experience desirable

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
