Job Title: Maths and English Tutor 1:1

Location:

East Midlands, Leicestershire, Leicester

Salary:

£25.00 - £30.00 Per hour

Job Duties:

• Provide one-on-one tutoring in Maths and English subjects
• Create personalised lesson plans based on students' individual learning needs
• Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
• Offer guidance and support to help students improve their academic performance
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues

Required Qualifications:

• Relevant qualification in Maths and English
• Previous experience in tutoring or teaching
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Education:

• Degree in Maths or English, or related field

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years experience in tutoring or teaching

Knowledge and Skills:

• Solid understanding of Maths and English curriculum
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning styles
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Organisational skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

• Teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, etc.)
• Experience working with students with diverse learning needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
