The Role
As a Maths Teacher working through Teaching Personnel, you could be supporting schools across Sheffield, Barnsley, Rotherham and the surrounding areas. Responsibilities may include:
- Delivering engaging and well-structured Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4.
- Planning and adapting lessons to meet a range of abilities and learning needs.
- Preparing students for GCSE examinations and supporting academic progress.
- Managing classroom behaviour effectively and maintaining a positive learning environment.
- Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues and school leadership teams.
- Supporting students to develop confidence and achieve their full potential.
We Are Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience.
- A strong subject knowledge of Maths.
- Experience teaching Maths at secondary level.
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
- The ability to engage and motivate students.
- A flexible, reliable and professional approach.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
