Job Title: Level 3 Teaching Assistant (Childcare/Early Years)
Location: Slough, Berkshire
Position Type: Part-Time or Full-Time (5 Days a Week)

Position Overview:
As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will play an essential role in fostering a positive and engaging learning environment for children in either part-time or full-time capacities. You will work closely with teachers and staff to provide tailored support, ensuring that each child’s individual needs are met. Your compassion, patience, and creativity will make a significant difference in their educational journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in delivering high-quality education and care to children in early years settings.
- Support children’s learning and development through engaging activities and play-based learning.
- Help to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where all children feel valued and included.
- Provide personal care to children as needed, supporting their hygiene and daily routines.
- Observe and monitor children’s progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to implement effective teaching strategies and resources.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills.
Qualifications:
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or Childcare (or equivalent).
- Previous experience working in an educational setting, particularly in early years or childcare.
- Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Ability to develop positive relationships with children, parents, and staff.
- Willingness to support personal care and be sensitive to the needs of individual children.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A positive, proactive attitude and a genuine passion for supporting young learners.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
