Level 3 Teaching Assistant

An excellent school in the Pontefract area is seeking a passionate and dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our team. Responsibilities:
- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons
- Assist with the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) and provide targeted support to students with additional needs
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Foster students' social and emotional development
- Support with classroom management and behavior management strategies
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to create a supportive and nurturing learning environment
- Provide feedback on students' progress to the class teacher and contribute to assessments
Requirements:
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
- Relevant experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a school setting
- Strong understanding of child development and learning strategies
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students' learning and well-being
