Location: BB11 Area, Burnley
Full-Time: 32.5 hours per week
Start Date: November 2024
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant (TA) to join our friendly and supportive team. This full-time position is based in Key Stage 1 and will commence after half-term.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the class teacher in delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences for children in Key Stage 1.
- Assisting with the planning and delivery of lessons, including preparing resources and working with small groups or individual pupils.
- Helping to create a positive and stimulating learning environment where children can thrive.
- Providing support for children’s emotional and social development, including managing behavior in line with school policies.
- Supporting children with additional needs, ensuring that all pupils have access to a broad and balanced curriculum.
- Assisting with the supervision of children during lunch and break times.
Requirements:
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
- Experience working with children in a primary school setting, ideally in Key Stage 1.
- A positive, nurturing approach with a commitment to helping children reach their full potential.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
