Level 3 Teaching Assistant – Full-Time Roles – Wimbledon, Merton & Streatham

Locations: Wimbledon, Merton & Streatham, South West London
Start Date: ASAP / Ongoing
Contract: Full-Time | Long-Term

We are currently recruiting experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistants to join supportive and welcoming primary schools across Wimbledon, Merton and Streatham. These are full-time, long-term opportunities ideal for confident TAs who are ready to take on additional responsibility and play a key role in pupil progress.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work within well-led schools that value strong support staff and collaborative teamwork.

About the Role:

As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you may be required to:

• Provide 1:1 and small-group intervention support
• Support pupils with SEN, including ASD, ADHD or SEMH
• Assist with lesson preparation and classroom organisation
• Deliver targeted interventions in phonics, reading or maths
• Occasionally lead small groups or cover the class where required
• Support behaviour management and emotional regulation
• Work closely with teachers, SENCo and leadership

Roles may be classroom-based or SEN-focused depending on your experience.

What We’re Looking For:

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification 
• Experience working in a primary school setting
• Strong understanding of safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
• Confidence supporting learning across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
• A calm, proactive and professional approach
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
