Level 3 Teaching Assistant (KS1) - Aigburth, Liverpool (L17)

Full-Time | Long-Term Role | Potential Temp-to-Perm Opportunity
£92.63 - £100 per day (DOE)

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a large, well-established Catholic primary school in the Aigburth area of Liverpool that is seeking a dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their KS1 team after the October half-term break.

This school has a reputation for its warm, family-oriented ethos, high expectations, and strong focus on ensuring every child feels valued and supported. Staff work collaboratively to create an engaging learning environment where pupils are encouraged to develop both academically and personally. The leadership team are highly supportive and committed to the professional development of all staff, making this an excellent setting for an ambitious Teaching Assistant looking to further their career.

The Role

  • Full-time position, Monday to Friday
  • Starting after October half term
  • Supporting teaching and learning within a KS1 classroom
  • Working closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging lessons
  • Providing support to individuals and small groups of pupils
  • Assisting with the social, emotional and academic development of children
  • Contributing to a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Long-term role with the potential to become permanent for the right educator

About You

  • Hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
  • Have previous experience working within a primary school setting
  • Experience supporting children in KS1 is desirable
  • Confident, proactive and able to use initiative
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Passionate about helping children achieve their full potential

Pay & Benefits

  • Competitive daily rate of £92.63 - £100 per day, dependent on experience
  • Weekly pay via PAYE
