Job description
Teaching Personnel are currently seeking passionate and experienced Level 3 Early Years Teaching Assistants to support a range of fantastic primary schools across High Wycombe. With both full-time and part-time roles available, we can offer flexible work to suit your schedule—whether you’re looking for long-term stability or short-term/ad-hoc cover.
About the Role:
We are looking for nurturing, motivated practitioners who can support children within Nursery and Reception settings, helping them develop socially, emotionally, and academically through purposeful play and high-quality early years education.
Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting the delivery of the EYFS curriculum through engaging, age-appropriate activities
-
Working 1:1 and in groups to support early learning and development
-
Assisting with classroom preparation, observations and child-led learning
-
Promoting an inclusive, safe and stimulating learning environment
-
Supporting children with additional needs and liaising with SEN staff
-
Working collaboratively with teachers, parents and the wider school team
Ideal Candidate:
We would love to hear from you if you have:

A Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years (or equivalent)

Experience in an EYFS setting—either Nursery or Reception
-
A warm, patient and proactive approach with a genuine passion for early years
-
Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and early development milestones
-
Excellent communication and organisational skills
-
Flexibility, reliability and a positive attitude

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
