Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel have been approached a primary school located in Burnley who are looking for a Teaching Assistant who can offer their support in Key Stage 1, within a Year 2 class. The position is to start in January 2025. The Head Teacher is looking to secure a committed teaching assistant to join their hardworking team in supporting the class teacher with raising attainment; particularly in Maths and English (Reading and Writing and Year 2 SATS). You would be supporting children within the classroom who are working below age related expectation.

- Start date: Monday 6th January 2025.
The role is to start as soon as possible, continuing until at least July 2025 on a full-time basis. The Head Teacher is particularly interested in candidates who are keen to secure a permanent role. The expected working hours for this role are 8:30am-3:30pm every day. The school would like to meet suitable candidates. Rates of pay are competitive starting at £12.90 per hour paid into your bank account on a weekly basis.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
