Level 2 Teaching Assistant – Full Time
BB4 Area
£14.25 per Hour
We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the BB4 area. This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 3:30pm.
The successful candidate will provide support across the classroom, working alongside the class teacher to help deliver engaging learning opportunities for all pupils. A significant aspect of the role will involve supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), therefore previous experience working with children with additional needs is essential.
The successful candidate will:
- Hold a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
- Have previous experience working within a primary school setting (essential).
- Have experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
- Be confident supporting pupils both on a one-to-one basis and within small groups.
- Work effectively as part of a wider school team.
- Demonstrate patience, flexibility, and a positive approach to supporting children's learning and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support teaching and learning across the classroom.
- Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities.
- Provide targeted support for pupils with additional needs.
- Help to create an inclusive and positive learning environment.
- Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development.

Pay and Hours:
- £14.25 per hour.
- Full-time position.
- Working hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
