Teaching Personnel is currently seeking a dedicated Learning Support Worker to join a specialist educational provision in Yeovil on a full-time basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who enjoy helping young people overcome challenges and achieve success both academically and personally.
Your Role
As a Learning Support Worker, you will play an important role in supporting learners with a range of additional needs. Working closely with teaching staff and wider support teams, you will help create positive learning experiences and encourage personal development.
- Supporting learners during lessons
- Assisting with individual learning programmes
- Encouraging participation and engagement
- Promoting emotional wellbeing
- Supporting social interaction and communication
- Implementing behaviour support strategies
- Helping students develop independence skills
No two days are the same, making this a highly rewarding position for someone who enjoys variety and meaningful work.

- Positive and enthusiastic attitude
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Understanding of SEND or willingness to learn
- Experience in education, care, youth work or support services beneficial
- Commitment to safeguarding and inclusion

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
