Pay: £57 - £68 per day
We're looking for a compassionate, resilient, and proactive Young Person's Mentor to join our valued partner school in Wheathampstead. This is a rewarding opportunity to support vulnerable young people who may have experienced barriers to education, helping them build confidence, regulate their emotions, and re-engage with learning.

What You'll Be Doing
- Building trusting relationships with young people who require additional support.
- Providing 1:1 and small group mentoring throughout the school day.
- Supporting students with social, emotional and behavioural needs.
- Encouraging positive behaviour and helping students develop coping strategies.
- Working closely with teachers and pastoral staff to create a safe, supportive learning environment.
- Celebrating progress, boosting confidence, and helping students achieve their individual goals.
We're Looking For Someone Who
- Has experience supporting children or young people (schools, youth work, care, coaching, mental health, residential care, sports coaching or similar).
- Is calm, patient and resilient when faced with challenging situations.
- Can build positive, professional relationships quickly.
- Has excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Is passionate about improving outcomes for young people.
- Holds (or is willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
