Learning Support Assistants needed in St Austell

An SEN school in St Austell are looking for numerous Learning Support Assistants/ SEN TA's to start as soon as possible!!!!!

The School offers access to education for students aged 4 to 16 who have difficulty learning as a result of Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Aspergers Syndrome or behavioural conditions in the mainstream school setting.

They help develop young people's emotional well-being and social skills. The aim is to develop students to be effective learners so they are able to cope better with the things they find challenging. They do this through a focus on establishing positive and healthy relationships, emotional well-being and developing social skills.

The School Require candidates to have:

Full Driving Licence

Level 3 qualififcation

Access to a vehicle

DBS Childworkforce ONLY which is registered with the update service or (be willing to obtain one)

The School: St Austell

The Hours: 08:30-15:30

Pay: £57-£65

Duration: Perm

Ideal Candidate:

Worried you have little experience in supporting students in an education setting - do not panic! Some of the best candidates within schools have little, if no experience, working in a school. However, their outgoing personality has enabled them to fully flourish within this role and the transferable skills they have from previous roles are key to them working in this environment! If you do not already have experience working in a setting such as this then any personal or professional experience with autism is welcomed!
