SEMH Teaching Assistants – Andover, Hampshire
Primary and secondary SEMH provisions in Andover and the surrounding area are seeking experienced, resilient, and compassionate SEMH Teaching Assistants to support children and young people with social, emotional, and behavioural needs.
About the Role
You will work closely with teaching and pastoral teams to:

Support emotional regulation and behaviour management
-
Build positive, consistent relationships
-
Assist with personalised learning and therapeutic approaches
-
Promote engagement, resilience, and social development
Experience in SEMH, behaviour support, youth work, or pastoral care is highly desirable.

Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
