Teaching personnel are looking for a Support Assistant to work in a fast paced and exciting Primary School based in Nelson, East Lancashire (BB9)

About the role:

  • Full-time role in Nelson (BB9)
  • Monday - Friday 8:30AM – 3:30PM
  • £11.85 - £12.55 per hour
  • Role starting in February 2024
  • Have a cleared DBS or be willing to apply for one

Responsibilities:

  • Working with children in the classroom and in the surrounding community
  • Collaboratively working with other other staff to deliver nurturing and young-person centred care
  • Supporting students in reaching their full potential

Your skills:

  • Experience working with SEN needs is preferred but not essential
  • Passion for helping SEN youth
  • A committed can-do attitude
  • Previous experience in youth work, sports coaching or intervention work will be highly considered

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
