Learning Support Assistant

Job description

We are seeking to appoint experienced members of staff to join successful departments from the point at which schools open again after the COVID-19 closures. 

  • LSA/Learning Support Assistants
  • September or earlier start
  • Trafford
  • Regular CPD and opportunities for progression
  • GBP1160-GBP1400 per month

Your role will involve working with small groups of pupils in the schools’ on-site Learning Support Provision Units, as well as supporting pupils on a one-to-one basis within the classroom. You will primarily focus on barriers to learning and helping pupils to overcome them to ensure all pupils can excel in their mainstream education. In addition to this, you will support the departments by running sessions with target pupils, concentrating on helping them engage with subject material and progress in accordance with their target grades.

In these uncertain times, this is an opportunity to secure local work with the market leading agency to help address the long and short term needs of our partner schools when they reopen, hopefully in September if not during the Summer term.
